We’re introducing our exciting new academic conference support services here at the University of Essex and we want to celebrate with you.
We’re officially launching our enhanced event concepts which will transform how Event Essex delivers, hosts and showcases academic events. Building on our years of expertise, we’re expanding our services to further an already exceptional customer experience (if we do say so ourselves).
These innovative services will help position the University as a leading destination for events and accommodation, maximising the value of our venues and facilities and drive sustainable income for the University of Essex. The intention is to strengthen our partnerships internally and externally and continue to provide excellent customer service at every stage.

Our extensive list of services are designed to support events from concept to completion and include:
- Delegate management (including registration, comms and accommodation)
- Event delivery (venue management, on‑site coordination and social programmes)
- Budget management (financial planning, sponsorship, invoicing)
- Marketing (website development, event apps and promotional materials)
- Audio‑visual support (lighting, sound and displays)
- Additional services (including bid writing, abstract submissions, speaker management and freedom‑of‑speech support)
Our aim is to make your academic event and conference planning seamless, professional, and stress free.
